You start the game as "Vault dweller" and you must save your vault from the perils of everyday post-nuclear society. You begin just retrieving a water purification chip, but it turns into so much more. Journey through your epic quest and gain allies, wealth, and fame.
With outstanding graphics (for it's time at least) and a erie yet mood setting sound score, this game is a must have for all gamers. What is best about this game, is there is no set order in which you sequence through the events! You can choose to be the hero of the world, and free slaves form bondage... Or be the dark one himself and slay entire towns with your Turbo Plasma Rifle.
On a side note, you might want to patch it with the upgrade patch available for free on Interplay's website. The game has quite a few bugs. Some are quite advantageous though, so pick your poison carefully.
Since this game is almost 4 years old, it goes for a cheap price. BUT! Do not be fooled by such an ill-fated guise! This game will keep you busy for hours on end and leave you thirsting for more!
