Goodbye Torrent Tracker: Service Closed
For the past 15 years, we have tried to be a good source for game music downloads and information. We have hosted various projects trying to keep the community alive. Our torrent tracker was intended to be a lifeline for our retired FTP downloading section. It had a good run, but the usage over the past year has been very low and a decision had to be made. We are retiring our torrent tracker in hopes of focusing on finding a solid direction for the future of the RPGamers Network.
I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who made the torrent tracker great and helped seed files, fill requests and keep the service alive. A special thanks to Marona for undertaking a huge part of the seeding an administration of the tracker.
Still looking for a good resource to download game music albums? Luckily nowadays there are many good resources and game albums are not nearly as rare or hard to come by. One place that does an especially good job at releasing albums in top quality is GameMP3s. I highly recommend you head over and check out their selection of torrents.
Bye!
Sorry to hear that it didnt worked out Locke! <Marona if u still need some albums which i might have just leave a tell>
Sorry to hear that this drastic change had to be made Locke. I think all this downloading game/anime music from this site was a very strong section of this website.
I've always followed the website on a weekly basis, but as you saw i had my torrentclient offline mostly since no activity.
@Marona: If you need some albums just let me know and we can manage to send the files over to you, my collection is still growing.
It was a great FTP/seeding time and i hoped i helped a lot of people getting there albums they were looking for.
Thank you everybody!
Our forums are pretty quiet right now, but you guys are welcome to share FTP info or trade music via our music section if you want to try to keep things going. You could also host your albums on other trackers and link to them in a thread. Just some random ideas if you wish to continue to share. RPGN is not dying, just changing course a little bit.
Well it will probably by FTP info with a notification method who and when somebody want to download something so i leave my PC on for those ppl. Will see how FTP works under windows 7 have no idea if my program will be supported.
If they don't have what you're looking for, come find me in the rpgn chatroom^^
