If the Wrath of the Lich King wasn't enough for you...
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is expecting it's release in 2010, but no exact release date is available at this time. There will be a lot of new things added in this expansion and changes made. Some of them will make you even gasp!
Let's cut to the chase on what's going to be new in the next expansion...
Two New Races
- Worgen (Wolf-like humanoid. Alliance)
Classes: Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior
- Goblin (Yes THOSE Goblins you come across. Horde)
Classes: Death Knight, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior
New Starting Points
- With the introduction of the new races, the starting point of your created character will change. Gilneas for the Alliance and Lost Isles for the Horde.
New Classes For Existing Races
- Alliance:
Human: Hunter
Dwarf: Mage and Shaman
Night Elf: Mage
Gnome: Priest
Sorry Draeneis. Nothing new so far
- Horde:
Orc: Mage
Undead: Hunter
Tauren: Paladin and Priest
Troll: Druid
Blood Elf: Warrior
Level Cap Increased To 85
- More leveling again? Don't worry. New High-Level zones are coming too with this: Uldum, Grim Batol, and the Sunken City of Vashj'ir.
Classic Zones Remade
- Some zones such as Badlands and The Broken Barrens will be altered.
New Profession
- If all your alternate characters got bored of Fishing and Tailoring, Archaelogy will surely interest you.
Guild Advancement
- Get Guild Levels and Achievements!
More Raid Content
- More High-Level raid content and more optional challenging versions of encounters.
New PVP Zone and Rated Battlegrounds
- PVP Objectives and Quests on Tol Barad Island, a new Wintergrasp-like zone, and all-new Rated Battlegrounds.
Flying Mounts in Azeroth
- No not Outland. Azeroth! You can fly and explore Azeroth like you couldn't before!
